How you stand, walk, and turn are key elements to a successful figure or fitness competition. Many athletes have phenomenal physiques, but if they do not know how to present it to the judges, it can easily be overlooked. I have a secret to share: Every athlete must practice their posing, because it doesn't "just happen" the day of the show. You need to know exactly how to walk in those high heel shoes (yes it definitely takes practice to be able to smoothly glide across the stage), how to stand in line up until you are called out for comparisons, how to present yourself during comparisons, and how to gracefully demonstrate quarter turns. Let me show you tricks of the trade that I have learned during my eight years of IFBB Pro level competition.
